and vehicles available. But first of all lets get acquainted. This year is going to be our five year anniversary
and we are really excited about the growth of our company. All the crew members are family or friends so
we are especially loyal and dedicated to the representation of the company. As you may know the seasons
are always changing and rapidly approach which means we at Calamity Carriages are always hard at work
gearing up for what is ahead. However, due to our hard work we are excited to announce that we are now
one of the largest carriage companies in and around the entire Colorado Front Range. The newest additions
to our company: Our new horse
drawn hearse designed to carry modern day caskets, we have added our
twelve
passenger all season sleigh, a new ivory vis-a-vis as well as a new
black and white vis-a-vis. Although we will dearly miss our beloved horse Cally after which the company was named; our new black and white
clydesdale Jimmy is clip clopping his way into our hearts. We have also added our new team of white horses;
Rex and Roscoe to help lighten the load. That gives the company a total of 16 different types of horse drawn
vehicles, a total of 20 carriage horses offered as single and teams, four truck and trailer rigs as well as seven
hard working crew members. Calamity Carriages has several locations; our north location in Arvada; the south
location in Franktown; and our central location in the heart of Denver. We have recently added the Southlands
Mall in Aurora to the east and soon will be in Colorado Springs. With all these locations we can offer a touch of
Western Elegance and provide you and your guests our heart warming and
memorable services throughout the
entire state of
Colorado and
front range area. Be it an elegant vis-a-vis for a wedding
departure, an eight passengerwagonette for a family reunion, a hay wagon for Christmas caroling, a horse drawn hearse for funeral processions,
a historical tour of downtown Denver, or a relaxing ride up Southlands main street; we have just the vehicle you are
looking for. Calamity Carriages normal rate bounderies are Golden to DIA and Longmont to Colorado Springs.
Outside those boundries there is a minimal travel fee added. The equipment used is all of commercial standard.
The vehicles are equipped with side, tail, and turn signals, full fifth wheel turning ability, hydraulic brakes, heavy
duty suspension and wheels, as well as most of the vehicles are easily accessed by elderly, handicapped, etc. They
are cleaned and maintained on a regular schedule to ensure long term use and safe operation. The horses are
specially
trained to handle the largest of crowds, the loudest of noise, and
the craziest of situations. Each horse must
pass the dowtown mounted patrol test to operate the streets of Denver and they are all equipped with diapers for the
removal of manure. Every horse owned is a pet and is given special attention to grooming, trimming, and health care;
so as to ensure longevity of health and also to promote a good impression on clients and viewers.
